Oil-water Coalescence Separator
The oil-water coalescing separator contains two filter elements, namely, coalescing filter element and separating filter element.
The coalescing filter element mainly uses glass fiber or polyester fiber as the coalescing medium after surface treatment. The structure of the filter material is specially designed to make the filter medium have good coalescing performance.
The separation filter is made of high density gradient glass fiber, designed into a monolithic tube structure in order to reduce damage and leakage. The surface of the filter is treated by hydrophobic and oleophobic treatment, which can meet the requirements of various precision levels.

Oil-water coalescence separator is a new type of product developed and designed by Primefiltra Filtration Company. The equipment integrates pre-filtration and separation. It is essential to ensure the pre-filtration of the efficient oil removal, prefiltration is to avoid clog of the coalesces filter element is ,and to maximize the efficiency of separation, it also can improve the service life of the coalesces filter element.
The highest precision of the filter can reach 0.1μm, and the oil removal efficiency is more than 99%. Oil water coalescer Separator has functions of both seprating and protecting.As the materials for the separator contains brittle material, and the operating pressure is large, the fine filtration unit is installed as the last unit of the system in order to prevent the impurities caused by the rupture of the filter element falls into the flow.
Working Principle
The filter media containing impurities and oil droplets flow from the insider to outside.The impurities are separated through the separation layer, and the remaining media containing oil droplets enter the coalescence layer. Tiny oil droplets colliding and growing into larger oil droplets. In the adsorption sedimentation layer, larger oil droplets are coalescing and floating up by gravity to complete the separation process. The oil droplets enters the collecting chamber and is discharged through the oil discharge port.
