Working Principle
The liquid enters the filter from the bottom, it flows into the inner cavity of the filter element from the bottom to the top , and flows out from the filter element. The filtered water is discharged from the outlet located on the top of filter, and the solid impurities are stay inside of filter element. When backwashing start, there is no need to stop filtration flow. The motor drives the sucking disc to rotate and meanwhile to open the backwash drain valve. Each filter element is backwashed by the filtered water.
Due to the pressure difference between the water pressure inside of filter and the atmospheric pressure, the reverse flow of the filtrate can remove the impurities trapped on the inner wall of filter. After one round rotation of the sucker, the backwash process is finished, the backwash valve closes and the driving motor stops.
